Chef Dorothy Cooke created The Roaming Chef Personal Chef Service to combine her love of food, cooking and her desire to share her knowledge with people.
Chef Dot, as she likes to be called, holds an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science (AAS) in Culinary Science from the Culinary Institute of Virginia. She is a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy as a Personal Chef.
Chef Dot has always wanted to pursue her aspirations in the culinary world since a very young age. She has worked in production kitchens within the hotel industry, the catering industry and the commercial baking industry. Additionally, she brings to your table over 30 years of cooking experience, a wealth of recipes gathered from innumerable sources while living and traveling throughout the World, and devotion to fine cuisine.
My goal is to provide great tasting, health conscious and unique foods that require little preparation and render ultimate enjoyment to my clients.
